Bond Joins Dow AgroSciences as Operations Manager

Dow AgroSciences is pleased to announce that Robin Bond has joined the PhytoGen team as field station operations leader (FSOL) at the PhytoGen Research Field Station in Leland, MS.

Bond will work with the team developing PhytoGen cottonseed varieties and creating new traits. She will provide support to the seven PhytoGen cotton development specialists, who serve as agronomic consultants to growers and retailers. She also will manage the day-to-day operations of the facility. Bond holds a master’s degree in weed science from Mississippi State University.

“Robin’s extensive experience in research and her strong reputation make her an excellent fit for the research station,” says Dr. Joe Johnson, field station manager at the PhytoGen Research Field Station in Leland. “Her skill set in weed management will be very beneficial to the research we are conducting at the station.”

During her time as a research associate at Mississippi State, Bond was awarded the Cotton Incorporated Doctoral Fellowship and authored or co-authored more than 40 articles.
