Mumbai Conference Offers Insights on Fiber Advancements

The latest information on cutting-edge research on fibers, finishes, technical textiles, and nonwovens will be featured at the upcoming international conference in Mumbai.

The U.S.-based American Association of Textile, Chemists and Colorists (AATCC) today announced the final program of its international conference in Mumbai to be held on October 1-2, 2013. The conference is jointly organized by Bangalore, India-based TecniTex Nonwovens Pvt Ltd.

During the two-day event, more than 36 presentations will be made. The conference will provide plenty of opportunities for the speakers and delegates to interact and network during many breaks and social settings.

The conference includes plenary talks regarding the latest trends in technical textiles, market information and technological developments.

Three keynote presentations from industry leaders will be made. The topics at hand will include multi-functional textiles for the military, biax fiberfilm meltblown technology, and functional mosquito repellent finishes.
