National Cotton Council President and CEO Dr. Gary Adams issued this statement today (August 28) regarding damage to the cotton industry from Hurricane Harvey:

 

“The National Cotton Council is deeply concerned for the cotton growers, ginners, warehousemen and other industry members in the areas affected by Hurricane Harvey. We are currently assessing the impact, but it will take time before we fully understand the extent of the damage. We are working to get timely information out to our members as they deal with this crisis.”
