New Cotton Board Appointments Announced

Agriculture Secretary Tom Vilsack has appointed 12 members and 12 alternate members to serve on the Cotton Board.

All appointees will serve 3-year terms ending December 31, 2017.

“I am pleased that these individuals have agreed to provide their time and expertise,” said Secretary Vilsack. “I am confident that cotton producers and importers will be well served by them.”

The re-appointed members are Marty White, Jonesboro, AR; Aaron Barcellos, Los Banos, CA; George LaCour, Jr., Morganza, LA; James Robertson, Jr., Indianola, MS; David Grant, Garysburg, NC; Tom Hegi, Petersburg, TX; Debra Barrett, Edroy, TX; Rodger Glaspey, Fresno, CA; Patricia Reber, Plymouth, MN; Carlos Moore, Naples, FL; Maureen Gray, New York, NY; and Deborah Gregg, Irvine, CA.

Richard Bransford, Lonoke, AR; Tom Gary, Greenwood, MS; Bryan Patterson, Amherst, TX; Courtney O’Keefe, Quincy, MA; and Stefanie Rotta, Elkins Park, PA, were re-appointed as alternate members.

Secretary Vilsack also selected Heidi Goold as an alternate importer member whose term expires on December 31, 2015, and Sigifredo Valverde as an alternate member whose term expires on December 31, 2016.
