“We’re excited about these two long-time cotton seed veterans joining our team,” says Americot General Manager Terry Campbell. “Newsom has been involved with Southwest cotton for 30 years, and Percival has been selling cotton seed since 1985. These two well-known, well-respected men will help accelerate Americot’s growth here in the Southwest.”

According to the recent 2013 USDA Cotton Varieties Planted Report, Americot increased its national market share to 12.5 percent in a year when cotton acreage dropped drastically. The company’s market share in the Southwest market is over 20 percent for the fourth consecutive year.

Americot, Inc., headquartered in Lubbock, TX, is a leading supplier of premium cotton varieties to the Southwest, Mid-South and Southeast markets. For more information on the company’s NexGen and Americot branded products, call 888-678-7333 or go to www.americot.com.
