UGA Cotton Breeder Focusing on Nematode Resistance
Ping Chee, a University of Georgia agronomist and cotton breeder, has spent 10 years working to develop in-plant resistance to root knot nematodes. According to a university report, his work to develop DNA markers for the resistance genes is making solid progress.
