Mississippi State Extension Cotton Specialist Darrin Dodds notes that he is starting to get calls regarding the best timing to terminate irrigation in cotton.
In a recent blog post, Dodds offers recommendations that growers should consider for both furrow and sprinkler irrigation. The signs to watch for are similar. But there are definite reasons why each type of irrigation should be managed a little differently.
