Continental Eagle Corporation of Prattville, AL, and JSC Kazakhstan Makhtasi have signed an agreement to build a new cotton seed acid delinting facility in the southern cotton growing region of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

“The importance of enhancing the basic seed quality in any agriculture crop at its maturity cannot be over-emphasized. Continental Eagle’s Dilute Sulfuric Acid Delinting equipment will improve Kazakhstan’s cotton seed quality and greatly influence their cotton production,” said Roger Fermon, President of Continental Eagle Corporation.

The project consists of six Continental Eagle Dilute Sulfuric Acid cotton seed Delinting Dryer/Buffers, an acid reactor, seed cleaner, specific gravity separator with various bins, tanks, heaters, fans, seed bagging and a chemical seed protectant application station. The state-of-the-art installation adheres to all the latest safety and pollution control standards.

Kazmakhta is a procurement, storage and processor of raw cotton and other agricultural raw materials used to produce non-consumer and consumer goods.
