Plan Now for Plant Bug Management

It’s still early, and most of the Mid-South is still thawing out after a series of winter storms. But it’s not too early to begin making management plans for tarnished plant bugs in cotton this season.

Jeff Gore, Angus Catchot and Don Cook – all entomologists within the Mississippi State University system – have developed a list of Best Management Practices that growers should consider to help make plant bug management more economical, without sacrificing yield.
