With ever-increasing amounts and types of data being generated on farms, and real value created from it, who controls and has access to the various data sets? A free webinar – Defining Ag Data Ownership – hopes to answer some of those questions.

The session, sponsored by Meister Media Worldwide’s PrecisionAg Professional (a sister publication to Cotton Grower), will be held November 13, beginning at 2:00 pm Eastern (1:00 pm Central).

The webinar panel members will stimulate thinking on how to manage and provide access to data in your business or on your farms. During the session, you’ll hear from Don Bierman, CEO of Crop IMS; Larkin Martin, manager, Martin Farm; Shannon Ferrell, associate professor, Oklahoma State University; and Todd Janzen, founder, Janzen Law Firm.

Paul Schrimpf, group editor of PrecisionAg Professional, will moderate the webinar.

Registration information can be found online, and there is no cost to participate. The session has also been approved for 1 CEU in professional development.
