FiberMax Calls for One Ton Club Entries

Bayer CropScience is looking for top cotton growers to join its FiberMax One Ton Club class of 2009. Growers can submit their qualification form between Nov. 1, 2009 and March 1, 2010. Forms are available at local gins, through Bayer CropScience sales representatives and online at www.FiberMax.com.

Both first-time One Ton Club qualifiers and past members who qualify with their 2009 crop need to submit their qualification forms for membership in the 2009 One Ton Club class.

Growers qualify for the One Ton Club by producing 2,000 pounds or more of lint cotton per acre on at least 20 acres planted to FiberMax cotton seed. Members have a chance to win a two-year lease on a Ford F-350 Super Duty King Ranch truck. They also receive special FiberMax One Ton Club apparel and gifts.

“Bayer CropScience recognizes the commitment and success of those growers who produce one ton of high-quality FiberMax cotton per acre, and we take this opportunity each year to congratulate them on this achievement,” said Jeff Brehmer, U.S. FiberMax and Stoneville marketing manager.

Since establishing the One Ton Club in 2005, Bayer CropScience has inducted 263 growers and will honor the 2009 One Ton Club class in Lubbock, Texas, on April 8, 2010.
