“The tech-trait diversity in the top performers again highlights the excellent yield potential, stability and fiber quality currently available in commercial cultivars, regardless of tech platform,” said Tyson Raper, Tennessee Extension cotton and small grains specialist.

Trial results reported from the 2016 season include six Official Variety Trials (OVTs), four large plot replicated strip trials, and 15 County Standard Trials (CSTs) scattered throughout Tennessee’s cotton producing counties. In-season plant measurements and multi-year yield averages were also reported for the OVTs.
