“This show is the first major trade show of the year, offering farmers and others a first look at new technology, and access to respected analysts who provide information on market potential and marketing techniques,” said Timothy L. Price, Show manager.

The 2010 show will feature the familiar and the cutting edge as companies unveil new technologies in seed and crop inputs, equipment updates and new equipment that will make farming easier and potentially more profitable. More than 20,000 domestic and international decision-makers are expected to attend the event that includes over 400 exhibitors.

For the fourth consecutive year, Cotton International magazine will be the international sponsor of the event, and will be joined for the first time by Farm Chemicals International magazine.

“We try to have representatives from all aspects of the agriculture industry linked to these commodities we grow. We try to really provide some good marketing information and strategies. We get all of our speakers to hang around and visit with people, and they’ll go from there.”

Also on Saturday, Sen. Blanche Lincoln (D-AR), Chairman of the Senate Ag Committee, will tour the show.

Exhibit hours are Friday from 9:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m., and from 9:00 a.m.-4:30 p.m. on Saturday. Visitors who view the exhibit areas are eligible for prizes, which will be awarded each afternoon, including $2,000 in attendance prizes awarded daily.
