Chinese cotton imports reached an all-time low in September, as an economic slowdown and large domestic inventories continue to weigh on demand.
Reports show that China imported only 50,900 tons of cotton in September – a 59% year-on-year decline. It’s the lowest monthly import since records began in 2005.
