This news article from Big News Network.com details the lengths that officials in Uzbekistan forced local cotton growers in an eastern province to go to in order to impress the country’s prime minister during a planned drive through the area.

The kicker, of course, is that the prime minister changed his travel plans and missed seeing all of this work.
