Cottonseed Oil Makes Prime Time

Cottonseed oil played a leading role in a February episode of Food Tech, the popular series on the U.S.-based cable television network the History Channel. The episode, “Southern Fried,” investigated ingredients and processes involved with one of the country’s most identifiable cuisines. In the episode, Host Bobby Bognar toured PYCO, a Texas oilseed crusher, and espoused the neutral characteristics of cottonseed oil flavoring.
