Georgia Cotton Growers to Vote on State Market Assessment

Georgia cotton farmers will have the opportunity to vote on renewing the $1 bale assessment that funds the Georgia Cotton Commission.

Voting by cotton producers will take place from February 8 through March 8. Growers should receive a ballot in the mail with instructions for signing and returning it for tabulation. Growers who do not receive a ballot should contact the Georgia Cotton Commission in Perry (478-988-4235), or the Georgia Department of Agriculture in Atlanta (404-586-1405).
