Robb Elected Chairman of Commodity Roundtable

At the recent meeting of the Commodity Roundtable, a consortium of executives representing our nation’s commodity boards, the Cotton Board’s vice president of Communications, Charles B. “Brad” Robb was elected Chairman for a one-year term.

The Commodity Roundtable members meet throughout the year and share information that impacts their respective programs while seeking solutions to issues they may have in common. While most participants are leaders from national research and promotion boards in the seeds and livestock, dairy, poultry and vegetable programs of USDA’s Agricultural Marketing Services (AMS), other executives also participate.

“I appreciate the vote of confidence from the Roundtable members and look forward to moderating the meetings and moving forward the message of agriculture,” says Robb.

“Our group traditionally meets twice a year and elects a Chair during the spring meeting in Washington, D.C.,” explains William Watson, Executive Director, Mango Board and coordinator of logistics for the group.
