The Global Presence of Cotton Incorporated

Today’s economy is truly global and so is cotton’s extensive supply chain. For those reasons Cotton Incorporated is committed to extending cotton’s global presence through its six offices around the world.

Cotton Incorporated’s World Headquarters is located in Cary, NC and the Consumer Marketing Headquarters is in New York, NY. Beyond the U.S. offices, Cotton Incorporated also operates in Mexico City, Mexico; Osaka, Japan, and Shanghai and Hong Kong, China.

These offices provide technical services to neighboring mills and manufacturers and offer information on cotton supply and demand, fiber quality, and consumer trends. Cotton Incorporated also contributes to, and often partners with, Cotton Council International (CCI).

CCI works to increase exports of U.S. cotton, cottonseed by-products and U.S. manufactured cotton products through activities that affect every phase of the marketing chain by representing the interests of the U.S. cotton industry’s seven segments – producers, ginners, warehousers, merchants, cottonseed handlers, cooperatives and manufacturers.
