Bier, Bratwurst And Don’t Forget The Baumwolle

Highlighted by the conference during the day and great parties at night, cotton people from all over the world visited Bremen in April for the 29th International Cotton Conference organized by the Bremen Cotton Exchange and the Bremen Fibre Institute. Whether the backdrop was the refined elegance of the Otto Stadtlander party at the Park Hotel, the cool vibe of the Cargo Control party at Schmidt’s Bar or the sizzling samba at the Albrecht, Muller-Pearse & Co. party, Bremen was cotton’s best scene of early 2008. And, of course, it wouldn’t be complete without the Bremer Abend at the Bremen Ratskeller, the wine cellar beneath the centuries-old Bremen town hall.
