Ten cotton producers from Mid-South and Western states will see cotton and other agricultural operations in Virginia and North Carolina in mid-August as part of the National Cotton Council’s 2019 Producer Information Exchange program.
The NCC’s 2019 Producer Information Exchange program kicks off with two tours the week of July 28, as Southwestern cotton producers visit California’s San Joaquin Valley and Southeast producers travel to the Mid-South.
The NCC has launched a pilot of the U.S. Cotton Trust Protocol, a program to confirm and increase awareness that U.S. cotton producers are farming responsibly and sustainably.
