German Textile Manufacturers Display Their Wares in India

Germany, one of the world’s top textile machinery-producing countries, added to its already excellent reputation during a recent conference in India. According to the German Engineering Federation, more than 500 attendees from 300 companies attended meetings held in Mumbai and Coimbatore on Dec. 16.

A total of 16 textile machinery builders from Germany held the events for technical management professionals from Indian textile manufacturing companies. The focus was on technology for fabric production, with technology-focused sessions held in two parallel sessions:

• production, finishing and dyeing of knitted fabrics, and
• production and finishing of woven fabrics.
