As a follow-up to the Stacked Income Protection Plan/Farm Bill workshops conducted over the past month, the National Cotton Council is hosting four regional information webinars on December 17 and 18.
Each session will include regional examples of insurance rates, county yields and information regarding farm programs.
Two webinars are scheduled for Wednesday, December 17 – one designed for the Southeast region beginning at 10:00 am Eastern and going until noon (9:00-11:00 am Central), and the other for the Mid-South from 2:00-4:00 pm Central.
The other two webinars are scheduled for Thursday, December 18. The session for the Southwest region begins at 9:00 am Central and goes until 11:00 am. A session for the Western region follows from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm Pacific (noon-2:00 pm Mountain).
NCC President/CEO Mark Lange said cotton producers, other cotton industry members and agribusiness personnel unable to attend any of the Council’s 25 workshops that were just completed across the Cotton Belt – or those who want additional information – are encouraged to participate in one of the webinar sessions.
