# ANEA: A Decade of Service

During two days of festivities and meetings in Rio de Janeiro in June of 2010, [ANEA](http://www.aneacotton.com.br) celebrated its Tenth Anniversary of advocating for the interests of Brazil’s cotton exporters. The milestone event culminated with a gala black-tie dinner at the legendary Copacabana Palace Hotel, facing Copacabana Beach. More than 300 cotton-industry professionals gathered to celebrate the occasion, including 50-some who came from various other countries and were treated to the Brazilian hospitality. Brazil’s cotton industry has made astounding strides in the ten years since ANEA’s founding.
