Options Available for Plant Bug Management

With plant bug season in full force in many parts of the Mid-South and Southeast, growers are finding that back to back treatments are needed – especially around corn acres – to keep the damaging pests in check.

The big question, however, is what should I spray…and when?

In conjunction with other Mid-South Extension entomologists, Scott Stewart of the University of Tennessee has developed a list of products and options for plant bug management at this point in the season, including the pros and cons of each.
