Plan Cotton Insect Strategies for Mid to Late Bloom

Scott Stewart, Tennessee Extension entomologist, offers several strategies to help manage plant bugs, stink bugs and bollworms during the blooming period.

Insect season is in full bloom in many parts of the Cotton Belt, with plant bugs and stink bugs firmly in the mix. And, bollworms generally begin showing up in late July and early August.

In his latest news blog, Scott Stewart, Extension entomologist with the University of Tennessee, offers several strategies to help manage these pests during the blooming period.
