The National Cotton Council’s annual early season acreage survey shows that U.S. cotton producers intend to plant 11.4 million cotton acres this spring – down 17% from 2022.
USDA’s June 30 Planted Acres report showed that cotton growers planted an estimated 12.5 million acres of upland and Pima cotton in 2022 – up 11% from 2021.
