Americot Names Dingus Marketing Manager

Americot, Inc., has named Julie Dingus as its new Marketing Manager/Sales Representative. She will have dual roles at Americot, serving as Marketing Manager as well as Sales Representative in Gaines and Yoakum counties of Texas and southern New Mexico.

“I sincerely believe we have the best sales organization in the cotton seed industry, and I am proud to have Julie join our team,” says Americot General Manager Terry Campbell. “She has 25 years experience in Ag Sales and has helped launch cotton varieties, insecticides, defoliants and seed treatments.”

Dingus, a New Mexico native, began her professional agricultural sales career 25 years ago with Union Carbide in Florida, after earning a Business Administration degree from New Mexico State University with a major in Marketing. A year later, she took over a sales territory in New Mexico, concentrating on cotton and vegetables. In 2004, her territory expanded into Gaines and Yoakum counties in Texas.

“I’ve worked in various crops over the years, but cotton is by far my favorite. I’m excited to join the Americot team and bring new NexGen and Americot varieties to growers. It is great to be in a marketing role and still have the opportunity to work in the field one on one with cotton growers,” Dingus says.
