Lacy Named to Lead PYCO Industries

Robert Lacy has been named President and CEO of PYCO Industries, Inc., effective October 1.

PYCO – formerly Plains Cooperative Oil Mill – is a cottonseed processing facility located in Lubbock, TX. The company was founded in 1936.

Lacy will succeed Gail Kring, who is retiring September 30 after a nearly five decade career with the oil mill. Kring has served as President and CEO since October, 2002.

Lacy, a graduate of Eastern New Mexico University, joined PYCO in April, 1990. He has served as the company’s Senior Vice President since October, 2002, and Vice President Marketing since October, 1996.

He also serves on the Board of the National Cotton Council, Texas Agricultural Cooperative Council and Triangle Cooperative Service Company.
