Rothenberg to Address Delta 1000 Members on Delta Council Day

Stu Rothenberg, one of the most respected political analysts from Capitol Hill, will address Delta 1000 members at 9:00 a.m. before the Delta Council Annual Meeting on May 28, 2010, in the Quadrangle outside the Bologna Performing Arts Center in Cleveland, MS.

“Stu Rothenberg is a long-time friend to Delta Council and our members and guests have enjoyed — and sometimes marveled at — his uncanny ability to dissect and handicap political races,” said Delta Council President Travis Satterfield of Benoit. “2010 is a watershed election year and we look forward to his visit and insights again this year.”

Rothenberg is the editor and publisher of the Rothenberg Political Report, as well as penning his bi-weekly Roll Call column and a contributor to The Washington Post, Wall Street Journal, and the New York Times. He has served as a political analyst for several news networks. He has appeared on NBC’s Meet the Press, ABC’s This Week and Nightline, and The McLaughlin Group. He served as a political analyst for CBS News, and has served as a CCN pundit for over a decade.

Rothenberg holds a B.S. from Colby College in Waterville, Maine and a Ph.D. from the University of Connecticut. In addition, he taught political science at Bucknell University and the Catholic University of America in Washington D.C.

The Diamond Anniversary Meeting of the Delta’s regional development organization will begin at 10:30 a.m. following Rothenberg’s address and the recognition of the Delta’s Honor Graduates.
