Texas Retailer Wins $1,000 in PhytoGen First Team Retailer Program
July 5, 2011 Rick Schmidt, manager of Helena Chemical Co., in El Campo, TX, has received a $1,000 Cabela’s gift card from PhytoGen cottonseed. Schmidt’s name was drawn from all qualifying participants in this first-ever retailer program from PhytoGen.
The Helena location is one among an elite group of retailers identified by PhytoGen as First Team Retailers — the MVPs of PhytoGen seed dealers. Membership in the program is based on sales performance, product service and promotional activities on behalf of PhytoGen.
“Schmidt and his team work with a lot of producers in the El Campo area, and we greatly value their business partnership,” said Duane Canfield, portfolio marketing leader and general manager of PhytoGen. “Schmidt was one of the first customers I ever called upon in my career.
