USDA’s April 2023 WASDE report shows only a slight bump in the export forecast for the U.S. cotton market, while global forecasts project higher production, reduced trade, and higher ending stocks for the month.
Cotton prices surged higher – a welcome relief not seen in recent weeks. But, says Dr. O.A. Cleveland, economics says this market will only tease the cotton bull. The bears will remain in control.
