“This is a very good decision taken by Indian government as it will lead to a reduction of garment prices and also remove the middle men and middle countries which import cotton from India. India is the 2nd largest manufacturer of cotton and labour costs are cheaper in India (as compared to Bangladesh and China), but India is not well promoted and represented in Europe and America. The ban on cotton exports will cause garments being manufactured in India at much cheaper costs.” – Germany
