The Cotton Foundation, MANA Crop Protection Sponsors of 2012 High Cotton Award

MANA Crop Protection announced that it is co-sponsoring the High Cotton Awards, an annual industry program that honors U.S. producers for their commitment to environmental consciousness, community involvement and industry leadership in producing high-yielding, high quality and profitable cotton, according to a company statement.

The company joins The Cotton Foundation, Farm Press Publications and other industry co-sponsors in recognizing the cotton grower recipients of this prestigious honor during the Beltwide Cotton Conference, January 3-6, 2012, in Orlando, Fla.

“Participating as a co-sponsor of the 2012 High Cotton Award is a tremendous honor for the MANA Crop Protection organization,” says Rob Williams, CEO in a statement. “The 2012 winners are a testament to U.S. growers’ ability and commitment in achieving excellence in cotton production and adopting innovative practices and products that support our nation’s role in meeting the food, fiber and fuel demands of a growing world population.”

One winner is identified from each of the following U.S. growing regions – Southeast, Mid-South, Southwest and West. Names of the 2012 winners will be formally announced by The Cotton Foundation and Farm Press Publications in late December.
