American Cotton Shippers Meet For 83rd Annual Convention

Members of the American Cotton Shippers Association convened at the Four Seasons Resort and Club Dallas at Las Colinas on May 24-26 for their 83rd annual meeting. The meeting included guest speakers from the International Cotton Association, International Cotton Advisory Committee, Mallory Alexander International Logistics and Deutsche Bank Commodity Services. Keynote speakers were Jim Angle, White House Correspondent with FOX News, and Dr. Mark Keenum, Under Secretary for the United States Department of Agriculture. ACSA Past President Manfred Schiefer addressed the membership during the general business session, and Adolph “Andy” Weil III was named the 2007/08 president.
