Monitor Cotton Carefully to Determine PGR Use

With recent rains and warmer temperatures, growers may need to apply a plant growth regulator to manage growth of rapidly-developing cotton.

Tyson Raper, Tennessee Extension cotton and small grains specialist, says it’s important under these conditions to consider in-field measurement of plant growth and adjust rates and/or application timings accordingly.
