AgAmerica Brings Experience and Innovation to Ag Lending

From Cotton Grower 2017-18 Product Showcase

AgAmerica Lending was founded in Lakeland, FL in 2009 as a progressive alternative to traditional agricultural loans. The founders, both having significant experience with ag land investment projects, sought to change the lending game and introduce smarter lending policies and procedures.

As the nation’s premier non-bank lender specializing in agricultural real estate, AgAmerica partners with fruit and vegetable growers, cotton and row crop farmers, cattle ranchers, and timberland owners to fund their operations. Our team, with 200+ combined years of ag experience, is dedicated to the success of farmers and ranchers who share their passion for the land.

About Us

When you work with AgAmerica Lending, you’ll work personally with one lending team from start to finish. Our experienced lending teams will work closely with you to identify your operational goals and financial needs to build a custom loan package designed to meet those unique needs. We believe in transparency throughout the customized process and value the long-term relationships we form with our clients.

Approximately 3.2 million farmers operate 2.1 million farms in the U.S. The vast majority (97%) of these American farms are family farms, making agricultural lending one of the most granular commercial lending markets in the country.

AgAmerica is especially committed to working with multi-generation family farms to help them finance the future of their increasingly diverse operations. With an extensive network of correspondent lenders across the Southeast and Texas providing a personal touch in the field, we deliver an unparalleled hands-on experience for our borrowers. These personal connections with land owners, combined with our commodity knowledge and land valuation expertise, position us as the nation’s premier land lender.

Approach to Lending

AgAmerica offers a broad spectrum of loan solutions that help fund borrowers who may not qualify for traditional agricultural loan programs. Our tiered pricing creates borrower-specific solutions based on their financial goals and loan risk. Taking a common-sense, collateral-focused approach to underwriting, we can often create options for clients that traditional income-based loan programs cannot.

Hero Product:  Equity Line of Credit

AgAmerica’s modern approach to lending inspired their 10-year line of credit. This industry-unique, interest-only line of credit can be used for a decade with no annual paperwork renewals, pay-down periods or non-use fees, allowing you to focus on your operation.

Loan Programs

Agricultural Farm, Ranch, and Timber Land Loans: When it’s time to plant your next row crop, expand your pecan orchard, plant timber or start buying more cattle, our agricultural land loans are a great financing option.

Recreational and Large Tract Land Loans: Ready to invest in a hunting, fishing or wildlife property? Have your eyes on a large tract of raw, conservation, or recreational land? AgAmerica can finance your dream.

Bridge Land Loans: Need a short-term, interest-only, land loan? These asset-based loans are a great source of fast, flexible funding.

Rural Infrastructure Loans: AgAmerica is supporting solar farms, wind farms, cell towers and broadcast towers in rural areas, because they ultimately help our client, the American farmer.

Minimum requirements:

  • Own or plan to buy 25+ acres of permanent plantings or 100+ acres of agricultural row crop, timberland, or pasture
  • Desired loan amount: $300,000+
  • Loan value must be less than 70% of the property value
  • Borrower must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident alien

Other benefits of working with AgAmerica:

  • No standard prepayment penalty on early payoffs
  • No cost on initial in-house underwriting of the loan application
  • Flexible payment plans: monthly, quarterly, semi-annual, or annual
  • 25-year amortizations available

As the nation’s premier land lender, AgAmerica Lending is there for farmers and ranchers in good times and bad. Like you, we have a deep respect for the land and understand the risk involved in farming and how factors outside your control can affect you as an operator. When it’s time to make improvements to protect what you’ve worked so hard to build, or if you’re looking to expand your current operation, we’re here to partner with you. Contact us at 844-516-8177 to discuss a custom financial solution that will help you accomplish your long-term goals or visit AgAmerica.com to learn more.
