FiberMax Celebrates Growers Who Maximize Dryland Production

A good cotton yield is 1,000 pounds per acre. A great cotton yield is 1,000 pounds per dryland acre.

The new FiberMax Maximizer Club celebrates great dryland cotton yields, and signup for the club is now open. Qualified growers who attend their local Maximizer Club event also can enter a sweepstakes for a chance to win a Polaris Ranger XP 1000 EPS.

To qualify for the FiberMax Maximizer Club, growers must produce an average of 1,000 lb/A on 20 or more dryland acres planted to FiberMax varieties.

“Dryland yields like this are hard to come by,” says Jason Wistehuff, FiberMax product manager. “But we have dedicated growers who can do it, and we’d like to recognize their hard work.”

The exclusive Maximizer Club was created for the growers who take on that dryland production challenge. “We can provide the seed with the high yield potential, but it takes a certain skill to be able to bring that to life on dryland,” Wistehuff says.

Growers in any of the 17 cotton-producing states who meet the 1,000-pound yield requirement can sign up for the Maximizer Club by visiting with their sales rep or Bayer Agronomic Services Team member. Entered acres must be registered in the Certified FiberMax Cotton program, and gin recap sheets are required to verify 1,000 pounds per acre.

Qualifiers will be recognized at a local recognition event in their area during spring 2017, where they will have the opportunity to enter the sweepstakes for the Polaris Ranger XP 1000 EPS. After all local events are concluded, the drawing will take place and the winner will be notified.
