Registration is now open for ICA Bremen’s Cotton Classing and Testing training, scheduled for July 7-16.

Registration is now open for ICA Bremen’s Cotton Classing and Testing training, scheduled for July 7-16 in Bremen, Germany.

The eight-day training covers a series of modules delivered by industry experts from ICA Bremen, the Bremen Fibre Institute (FIBRE) and other leading companies. Topics will range from classifying various growths of cotton to practical HVI training on the latest equipment, including Uster 1000 and Premier ART2.

“Last year, we introduced new sessions to give participants a basic knowledge about spinning, weaving, knitting, finishing and the requirements on the quality of raw cotton fiber,” said Karsten Froese of ICA Bremen. “We’ve listened to feedback and have decided to continue providing those sessions to give participants a useful overview.

“The training will still focus around the quality of raw fiber, and, as always, participants will receive personal attention to the meet the individual needs of their firms,” he added. “Last year’s program was a sell-out, and we expect this year to be the same.”

Full program details, including registration information, can be found online.
