Americot Hires New Southeast Sales Rep

Americot, Inc. has added Sales Representative Jeff Sandifer to its staff. He will be responsible for servicing cotton growers, consultants and seed dealers in Virginia, the Carolinas and south Georgia.

Americot General Manager Terry Campbell is excited about adding Sandifer, who has been around cotton all his life, to his sales team. “Sandifer has grown cotton himself so he knows personally the technical and field support that growers need and want from their seed rep,” Campbell says. “He also has worked closely with consultants, seed dealers and university researchers.”

Sandifer grew up on a family farm — primarily a cotton, soybean and corn operation — near Barnwell, SC. He worked as manager on the family farm for the last 10 years, in addition to being a technical support representative for Agrimar Corporation for the last year. He graduated from Clemson University with a Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Mechanization & Business.

“I am excited about the opportunity to work with the Americot team and to service Southeast cotton growers and consultants,” Sandifer says. “We have seen the high yield potential and excellent fiber quality of Americot varieties for several years on our farm in South Carolina. I’m particularly excited about Americot’s current Southeast high performer, AM 1550 B2RF, as well as the new NexGen cotton varieties that will be introduced in the Southeast in 2011.”
