Gdynia Cotton Association Holds Successful General Assembly

On May 21, the 69th Ordinary General Assembly of the Gdynia Cotton Association Members was held Gdynia, Poland.

In the course of the session, members passed the resolution introducing new “By-laws and Rules of the Gdynia Cotton Association” in which the trade rules of the International Cotton Association in Liverpool were embedded. Rules of the GCA Court of Arbitration as well as provisions concerning cotton yarn and grey fabrics remained unchanged. New Rules shall become valid on August 1, 2010 — at the beginning of the new cotton season.

The Gdynia Cotton Association granted the title of “Honorary Member” to Mrs. Wiesława Trywiańska-Furman and Professor Tadeusz Jackowski.
