ICAC Opens Registration for Two Major Industry Events

Registration is now open for the International Cotton Advisory Committee’s 69th Plenary Meeting, which will be held at the Overton Hotel and Conference Center in Lubbock, Texas, United States, on September 20-25, 2010. The theme of the meeting is “Cotton Industry Growth Through Global Unity.”

The meeting will focus on key issues such as the Social, Environmental and Economic Performance of Cotton Production, Water Use Efficiency, Sustaining Cotton’s Place in the World Market, International Trade Negotiations, New Developments in Cotton Technologies, and Improving Industry Efficiency in Storage, Transportation and Handling.

In addition, the Government of India will host the World Cotton Research Conference-5 in Mumbai from November 7-11, 2011. Information and pre-registration are available online at www.icac.org/meetings/wcrc/wcrc5/english.html. Once you have pre-registered, you become eligible to receive all forthcoming information on WCRC-5. A package with full registration, including hotel booking, will be available in early 2011, and will be mailed to you if you have pre-registered for the conference.
