Mississippi Ag Consultants Prepare for Annual Conference

The Mississippi Agricultural Consultants Association’s 38th Annual Conference is set to be held at the Bost Extension Center at Mississippi State University. The day and a half conference will begin at 8:00 A.M on Thursday, January 27th with the Keynote Address by Dr. Gregory Bohach, Mississippi State University Vice President of the Division of Agriculture, Forestry and Veterinary Medicine.

Presentations during the Conference include: Bt Cotton Resistance Monitoring Updates; Tarnished Plant Bug Management/ New Chemistry; Managing Corn and Soybean Diseases; Management of Resistant Weeds in Cotton/Soybeans; Rice Production Update; Using Chicken Litter in Cropping Systems and Peanut Production in Mississippi among others. A luncheon on Thursday will honor the MACA Scholarship Winner.

Attend this conference for the renewal of Mississippi Consultant’s Licenses, CCA CEU’s and to meet Industry Representatives in the Industry Exhibit Hall.
