Spotlight on China
February 17, 2011 The 2010 China Cotton Summit and International Cotton Fair was held May 7-8 in Sanya, China. The theme was “Innovation and Development of China and the World Cotton Industry in Post-Crisis Era.”
More than 780 of the world’s most prominent cotton professionals were in attendance at the event, representing 17 countries.
Session topics included a broad range of related topics from the world economic outlook:
• risk management,
• the macroeconomics and policy of agriculture,
• sustainable development in China,
• market dyanamics in the United States, Brazil and Africa, and
• the textile industry.
