Cotton Australia Issues Report on Water Issues

Cotton Australia has published a new Background Briefing paper that provides a comprehensive explanation of the country’s current state of water policy and legislation. Water issues remain crucial to Australian cotton farmers. The report is available at www.cottonaustralia.com.au.

A key feature of the water reform process, the association notes, is the Water for the Future program, which includes both the buyback and irrigation infrastructure components.
