Georgia Cotton Commission Set for 4th Annual Meeting
January 18, 2011 The speaker line-up for the Georgia Cotton Commission’s 4th Annual Meeting, to be held on Wednesday, January 26, at the UGA Tifton Campus Conference Center, has been confirmed:
• Allen McLaurin, President, Southern Cotton Growers, “A Message from our SE Regional Organization.”
• Allen Terhaar, Executive Director, Cotton Council International.
• John Maguire, Senior Director of Governmental Relations, National Cotton Council.
• Zippy Duvall, President , President Georgia Farm Bureau & Georgia Cotton Commission Ex-Officio
• Gary Black, Georgia Commissioner of Agriculture & Georgia Cotton Commission Ex-Officio.
Producers present are eligible for door and grand prize drawings. Commission’s Annual Meeting Co-sponsors include AMVAC, BASF, Bayer CropScience, Cotton Growers Cooperative, Case IH, Crop Production Services, Deltapine, DuPont Crop Protection, Lasseter Equipment Co., Dow/ PhytoGen, Southeast AgNet Radio, Staplcotn, Triangle Chemical Co., Valent and Valley Irrigation.
