Crop Progress Notes for Cotton – December 9

In its final Crop Progress report for the year, USDA has all but declared cotton harvest complete.

The report for the week ending December 8 showed that 89% of the U.S. crop has now been harvested – up 6% nationally in the past week. In all, 90% or more of this year’s harvest is complete in 13 of the 15 cotton producing states.
