This year cotton season 2010-11 rainfall is satisfactory in cotton tracks in india, no doubt last week there was not much rain but overall it is satisfactory. We expect that acreage will be more by 15% in karnataka, maharashtra, and in gujrat and 10% in punjab,A.P.so overall we expect the production on all india to go up by 10% and the crop size will be around 345 lakh bales.Similarly the demand will also go up by increase in export and anticipated is more than 100 lacs and evan domestic mill consumption will also go up due to very good margins for the spinning industry as well as good demand in yarn and at the same time prices are likely to be bullish.
