Tennessee Cotton Tour Field Day Set for September 5

The University of Tennessee Institute of Agriculture’s annual cotton field day is scheduled for Wednesday, September 5, at the West Tennessee AgResearch and Education Center in Jackson.

Sessions will include updates on cotton variety performance, fungicides and target spot, weed and resistance management, irrigation, defoliation, UAVs and insect control.

Cotton Tour registration opens at 8:30 a.m. Field tours begin at 9 a.m. and include multiple presentations. The event concludes at noon with a complimentary lunch.

There is no cost to attend the tour. Pesticide recertification points will be available.

A complete program will be posted online prior to the event.
