March is Burndown Time for NC Cotton Fields

NC State cotton specialists have provided online guidelines for timing, products and rates for spring burndown of problem weeds on cotton acres.

In the Eastern cotton producing areas, March is traditionally time for growers to burn down their fields to help manage glyphosate-resistant horseweed, wild radish and other problem weeds.

North Carolina State Cotton Specialists Guy Collins and Keith Edmisten have provided online guidelines for burndown timing, product combinations and rates. Click here for their recommendations.
